Travels in 2019

I spent most of 2019 going very slowly around the world: Mexico, South America, Europe, Nepal, Thailand, and Cambodia.

Life in Antigua

Photos and blog posts from my stay in Antigua, Guatemala, in the fall of 2016.
I created this site as a place to store my photographs and blog posts during a short stay in Antigua, Guatemala. I left Guatemala long ago, but have continued to write about traveling; I am now using this site as a place to play with the idea of "publishing" - producing writing and photographs at a higher standard than is usual for social media, email, Twitter, and the other platforms of our post-literate world.

This site is generally data-free; I make no attempt to teach anyone how to do anything. If you're looking for six ways to drive traffic to your site, seven must-see destinations in Spain, or four boffo WordPress plugins, you are in the wrong place. This site is about words and images.
